Graduate Teaching Assistant in Bradford

Are you a graduate or support worker looking for your next challenge? Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for more than just general teaching assistant duties.

A Bradford Primary School are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Support Worker to join their existing team after the Easter break for the summer term. A number if our Bradford Primary School clients have an on site provision that supports pupils with ASC, SEMH and ADHD. There are a variety of roles ranging from full time to part time, on a fixed term contract basis, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent role within school.

You will have previous experience of supporting pupils with additional learning needs (Autism, PMLD, and SEMH) and be confident in supporting individual pupils with their personal care needs. You may also have additional training in Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECs, Intensive Interaction and/or Autism Awareness, or be committed to completing the above training as part of your role.

The school is situated on the outskirts of Bradford and is easily accessible by both car and public transport from Leeds and the surrounding areas. The school cater for pupils aged 2-11 and are committed to meeting the needs of all learners, with an emphasis on positive personal and social development. The school benefits from in house Speech and Language Therapists, and a team of Autism Specialist Teachers who regularly attend school to provide specific training.
