Graduate Teaching Assistant required for Teaching Assistant role in Bury.

Key Stage 1 and 2 Teaching Assistant Positions for Graduates and Aspiring PGCE Students.

Small group work in Maths, English and Reading.

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a "Good" Primary School in Bury. The school has outstanding support for aspiring teachers and graduates who are looking for a future in education. The Bury based primary school are very keen to add graduate teaching assistants and future PGCE students to their staff team for September 2018 if not before.

The Bury school headteacher has a clear vision for the primary school and see's graduate students in Maths, English, Psychology or Education Studies a vital part of the development of her staff team.

The ideal graduate teaching assistant would be a graduate with some experience in primary schools or working with children. The role would be carrying out small group interventions with a focus on phonics, maths, reading & writing and language. There are roles in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a great opportunity for any potential PGCE students!

The role will be starting in September 2018 but could start before for the right person. The application date closes 15th June and trials will be arranged week commencing 18th June.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
