About the Programme
The Future Teachers Programme gives graduates practical experience in schools to help you decide if teaching is the right career path for you. It’s a structured, supportive route into teacher training, providing you with valuable skills and confidence along the way.
The Role: Cover Supervisor
As a Cover Supervisor in a Liverpool secondary school, you will:
- Supervise lessons during teacher absences.
- Support students as they complete pre-set work.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
- Gain insight into the teaching profession without the responsibility of planning or marking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
