Job description

Maths Teacher – KS3 and KS4
Location: Liverpool
Contract: Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join an alternative provision school in Liverpool. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students in a supportive and purpose-driven environment, with the possibility of working across multiple sites. A full driving license is essential.

The school is committed to ensuring every learner reaches their full educational potential within a tailored setting that meets their individual needs. By fostering social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing, the school aims to equip students with key skills to successfully reintegrate into their referring settings or transition to new educational pathways. Character building is at the heart of every program.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Support students in achieving academic and personal growth while managing challenging behaviour effectively.

  • Work closely with colleagues to create a safe, nurturing, and motivating learning environment.

  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of students and help them reach their potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience teaching Maths, ideally in alternative provision or similar settings.

  • Demonstrate resilience, understanding, and the ability to manage challenging behaviour.

  • Be passionate about supporting students' education and emotional wellbeing.

  • Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel between sites as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
