Are you due to graduate this summer and are you considering a career in teaching? Would you like paid work experience in an Oldham Primary school near you to help you decide if teaching is the right path for you? If yes, then our Future Teachers Programme could be the opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting graduates ahead of September 2019 who are considering a career in primary teaching in the future.

Overview

• Full time Graduate teaching assistant roles for 12 months - Followed by introduction to a SCITT programme at an Outstanding training school
• Over 20 places available across the whole of Oldham
• Opportunities for all graduates pursuing a career in primary education
• Paid £9.50-£11.50 per hour, for the first 12 months whilst gaining essential and valuable experience as a teaching assistant

Responsibilities within the graduate teaching assistant role include providing

• One to one booster sessions/interventions where you will help to raise pupil attainment
• SEN support where you can work alongside pupils with Special Educational Needs
• In-class support to enhance pupils learning experience
• Assistance with planning and preparation of lessons alongside teachers to you in this area
