An Ofsted rated 'outstanding' day/residential school for children and young people aged 7-19 with complex learning difficulties and speech and language disorders in West Drayton have a great opportunity for graduate Teaching Assistants.
Due to school's expanding student numbers, they are looking for graduate TAs to start immediately or in September. Ideally successful candidates will have a UK or UK Naric equivalent degree along with experience of supporting children or young people with autism, severe Learning difficulties and complex needs.
This is a great opportunity for budding graduates who are looking for roles where they can utilise their degree qualification while working with a successful and specialist team.
Requirements:
- Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Neurology, Linguistics, English, Maths, Science and Education Studies degree or Masters graduates (UK or UK Naric)
- Living in borough of Hillingdon or be able to travel to schools in the borough
- Experience working with children or young people with autism, challenging behaviours, social, emotional and learning difficulties
- Full-time availability (35.5 hours per week)
- Confidence supporting in Maths, English and humanities

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
