Graduate Sports Coach – Chorley – September 2025 Start

Are you a recent Sports Graduate looking to take your first step into the world of education? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in schools while keeping your evenings, weekends, and school holidays free? We’re recruiting for a Graduate Sports Coach to support pupils in a specialist school setting in Chorley, starting September 2025.

This full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday) is ideal for graduates seeking meaningful work that aligns with school hours. You’ll be supporting children and young people with additional needs, helping them stay active, engaged, and regulated throughout the school day. Whether you're leading small group activities, supporting in PE lessons, or working 1:1 with pupils who require extra encouragement, your sporting background will be a real asset.

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Are a recent or soon-to-be Sports Graduate (or similar discipline).

  • Have experience working with children or young people in any capacity.

  • Are confident, energetic, and able to build strong relationships quickly.

  • Want to gain valuable experience ahead of a teaching, coaching, or youth work career.

  • Are looking for a role that leaves school holidays free for travel or further work experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
