Are you a recent graduate aspiring to complete a Secondary teaching PGCE in the future?

If so, our partner school in the Bury LEA have a current requirement for Graduate Cover Supervisors to join their bank of support staff for the remainder of the academic year, and moving into September 2018

Cover Supervisor - The Role

  • Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre set work
  • Building upon classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Flexible working to suit your availability
  • Gain an insight into the daily structure of the school day
  • Gain invaluable experience prior to completing PGCE training

The school is located near to the Whitefield region of Bury and is close to the M66 motorway. Public transportation links from Manchester City Centre also provide a direct route to the school. With just under 800 pupils on roll, the school is slightly smaller than average. The role of Cover Supervisor will enable you to build upon your behaviour management skills and gain an introduction into the working school day.

  • Earn up to £300 per week depending upon previous experiences
  • Previous experience working with young people is required for this position
  • Located near to the M66, accessible via public transportation links.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
