An oversubscribed independant school in Dorset are looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher of Geography to join their Faculty of 4 to support the delivery of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Geography. Class sizes vary from 10-15 pupils per class.
The school is well known for its traditions of excellence and aims to deliver the following:

Academic standards are very high at theschool and are duly recognized as such by OfSTED, DfE and the media, but excellence permeates all other areas of school life.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner who can be flexible to meet the needs of all students. Effective partnership working is a must. The school also welcomes applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise in a unique environment. Recent experience teaching Geography up to 5 would be an advantage.
The new GCSE course, started in Sept 2016, is Edexcel. Current Yr11/U5 are going into their second year of the course. The new A Level course, also started in Sept 2016, IS AQA.
Results table: 2017 A Level - 100% A*-A.
This is a full time role starting from Ocotber 2017 to cover maternity leave.
