Geography Teacher – Preston – January 2026


Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Preston from January 2026 This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about helping students explore the world around them and understand the global challenges of the future.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing lessons that promote deep learning and critical thinking.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
  • Supporting the academic and personal development of students as a Form Tutor.
  • Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extra-curricular activities such as field trips and geography clubs.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong academic background in Geography and a passion for the subject.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
