Are you a graduate who is looking to pursue a career in the education sector?
Are you looking for the perfect experience to support a future PGCE or Schools Direct application as well as gain financial reward?
Secondary schools in the Chelmsford area are looking for Cover Supervisors to work within their schools. This role would suit a confident graduate who has previous experience (in a voluntary capacity or otherwise) working with students, perhaps in a secondary school, primary school or youth work setting. The successful graduate will be motivated and able to converse, liaise and engage with people of all ages including pupils aged 11 - 16 and fellow colleagues and teachers.
Highlights of the cover supervisor role:
- Get paid for delivering pre-set work in a secondary school
- Pay range between £55 - £70 (depending on previous experience)
- Gain valuable experience working in a secondary school setting - to support a future PGCE application
The role of a cover supervisor is to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher. The role commands a certain level of flexibility as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability and age. You may also be at various schools in the Chelmsford area but the networking opportunities are not only endless but the experience you will gain is perfect for an aspirational teacher. The successful cover supervisor will be covering a range of subjects to gain a full 360 degree and a well rounded experience.
This role will suit a recent graduate who has some experience of engaging with young adults aged 11 - 16. A graduate who is confident in their approach and has a professional manner would be ideal. If you are looking to pursue a future role in teaching, then apply now with your latest CV.
This role would also suit a more experienced cover supervisor - someone who has previously fulfilled the role in a secondary school or someone who is passionate about working within a secondary school.
This is an excellent chance to join Teaching Personnel's team of teaching staff and deliver a professional and quality learning eperience to young minds.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
