Science Teacher required - Northumberland school

Teaching personnel are recruiting a teacher of science to work in a Northumberland school from October 2016. The position is for approx. 1 term but may be extended for the rest of the academic year.

This position has arisen due to a current Science teacher gaining a promotion and moving to a partner school in Northumberland. As a result, the leadership are seeking to recruit a Science teacher for the new academic year (or earlier if possible, NQT Science teachers welcome to apply).

Your role as a Science teacher in this thriving department will require consistently high standards of teaching and following the Northumberland school’s approach to teaching and learning. The successful Science teacher who applies will be given a chance to showcase their teaching talent in a forward thinking department with an extremely supportive faculty leader. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
