Teaching Assistant – Bury Secondary School
Are you a graduate who holds experience working with secondary education? Would you like to gain a full time position working within a Secondary school in order to gain the necessary experience required to gain a position on a PGCE?
If so,
Please see the details of our client school who seek to appoint a number of graduate teaching assistants to join their support team.
This is an excellent school to work within and you will be joining a large support department where you will face new challenges every day. You will work closely, on a 1:1 basis with pupils who require extra support to reach their target grades. Any graduates or trained teaching assistants interested in these roles will require previous experience working within mainstream secondary schools; it is also an advantage if you hold experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties.
This school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll, of which there are a higher number of children who suffer with learning difficulties than average. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and vibrant team of support staff who are dedicated to ensuring all pupils receive the highest standard of teaching.
Located on the outskirts of Bury town centre, the school is easily accessible via public transport however it is an advantage if you have your own transport if you live outside of the Bury area.
Due to a number of staff absent due to long term sickness, the school are looking for the suitable candidates to start immediately. To be considered for this excellent opportunity please email your CV to matthew.mccabe@teachingpersonnel.com or contract a member of the secondary team on 0161 242 1794.
