We are recruiting enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Kettering. These schools are committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Deliver small group interventions to raise attainment
Support children with SEND, SEMH or EAL needs
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering teacher training, or individuals with childcare or care backgrounds.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
A calm, patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
