Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Are you a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Kettering? We are working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the area who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in their academic progress while contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils

• Assist children with SEND and/or EAL needs

• Help manage classroom behaviour and daily routines

• Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and well-being

• Support with preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

• Is patient, reliable, and proactive

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is adaptable and confident supporting different year groups

• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
