We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Northampton. These schools are committed to pupil progress, staff wellbeing, and creating positive learning environments.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Working 1:1 with pupils who require additional support

• Delivering small group interventions

• Assisting children with SEND, SEMH, or EAL needs

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

Whether you are experienced or looking to gain valuable school-based experience, we have roles to suit your background.

We Are Looking For:

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, care, youth work or coaching)

• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
