Do you hold previous experience as a cover supervisor in secondary education? Are you beginning your PGCE in September and would like to gain further classroom based experience prior to the summer?
If so, please see the details of our client school in Astley (Border of Wigan and Salford) that have a temporary need for a cover supervisor from April till July.
Job Highlights

As a cover supervisor it is essential that you hold previous experience working with secondary schools and would feel confident delivering pre-set work to pupils in the absence of teaching staff.
Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;
*Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers
*Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed
*Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.
This Roman Catholic secondary school which falls under the Liverpool Diocese. Located in Astley, the school borders both Wigan and Salford making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Bolton, Leigh, Manchester, Chorley.
