Are you considering a career in teaching? Do you have previous experience working with young people in a range of settings? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in the Durham area across a number of Secondary schools.
LSA’s are expected to cover lessons across the curriculum in the absence of the class teacher. Covering lessons will include the delivery of pre-set work, and ensuring that all students are engaged and on task throughout the day. This opportunity is great for aspiring teachers, and those wanting to gain further experience before completing a PGCE in Secondary education.
• Full time and part time opportunities, depending on availability
• Introduction to a number of Secondary schools across County Durham
• Fantastic opportunity to enhance future PGCE applications
• Full UK Driving Licence is desired for this position
It is necessary for this position that the successful Learning Support Assistant has previous experience working with young people.
