** General Cover Cover required exclusively for a Secondary School based in the S5 area of Sheffield **

I am currently partnered with a large Secondary School based in the S5 area of North Sheffield. They are actively seeking a General Cover Supervisor to work exclusively for the school starting in September 2016 on a day-to-day basis.

Over the next few years they aim to be the best inner city Secondary School in the country. They intend to break the link between context and achievement so that every child reaches their full potential.

During the recent Ofsted inspection in June 2016 they achieved a ‘Good’ grading. This represents a strong endorsement of their effectiveness as a school and academy trust. During the Ofsted inspection they received the following statement:

‘Leaders have effective systems in place to monitor the quality of teaching and learning’

I am looking for somebody who is passionate about creating and delivering inspiring lessons in order to engage pupils whilst ensuring all pupils’ attainment is increasing and further progress is made during all lessons. The role shall require strong subject knowledge and strong behavior management skills along building positive relationships with both staff and pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
