Supply teacher – Manchester

A Multi Academy trust is looking to appoint teachers who are available for day to day cover in the absence of the perm teacher. Teaching Personnel work in partnership with the trust to recruit for staffing requirements. The position of the supply teacher is open to newly qualified and experienced teachers to apply. Initially the position is temporary with chances for the role to become permanent. A part time or full time position is available dependent on the successful teacher.

The Multi academy trust includes Levenshulme High school, The East Manchester Academy and Whalley Range 11-18. The position of the Supply teacher will involve covering lessons across the curriculum from pre set work left by the permanent member of staff. The successful Supply teacher will be working in a supportive, fast moving and progressive network of schools. Due to the nature of the position of the Supply teacher the Supply teacher will need to be flexible and adaptable. Most teachers find this a great way to gain an introduction into a trust of schools. The schools are located in the heart of the city centre with the schools all been easily located by public transport. The supply teacher will be working in Manchester schools which have been newly refurbished and have state of the art facilities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
