Are you aspiring to be a secondary teacher? Do you have previous experience working with youths aged 11-16 in an educational setting.

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of schools in the Oldham, Rochdale and North of central Manchester area to provide them with cover supervisors on a flexible and full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience prior to starting a teacher train in programme.

This position as a cover supervisor will involve providing supervision of students and their set work where their usual teacher is absent and ensuring students stay focused on task. Suitable candidates will have previous experience as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant or working with children/young people in an educational or coaching setting, preferable those aged from 11-16. Applicants must possess the ability to communicate with students, be able to affectively manage behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy and be able to quickly build rapport and encourage students to complete set work.
