Are you ready to take the next step in your career and pursue a fulfilling path working with young people, with the goal of becoming a qualified secondary school teacher?

Our programme, Future Teachers, offers graduates the opportunity to enter the teaching profession. It provides two years of full-time, paid experience and, upon completion, participants will earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), making them fully qualified teachers.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, Computer Science, Languages, or Physical Education. However, all specialisations will be considered, as we can provide Subject Knowledge Enhancement Courses if needed.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn throughout the programme.
  • A genuine desire to support and empower young people, helping them achieve their educational potential.
  • Availability to work full-time starting in Semptember 2024.

As a participant in the programme, you will take on various roles, including classroom support, cover supervising (leading planned lessons), and one-to-one mentoring with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
