Is education something you are passionate about?

Cover supervisors take on the role of teachers who are absent for the day delivering set work, lessons and taking on the role of a teacher for the day. If you are a graduate considering a career in teaching and wanting to gain school based experience working as a cover supervisor before starting a teacher training programme cover supervising is the perfect option. We are currently supporting secondary schools throughout Stockport with staffing and cover supervisor cover.

If you are currently employed in a relatable line of work such as sports coaching, youth work or social work and are considering a career switch into education we welcome your application.

Key features of the cover supervisor role;

  • Weekly pay ranging from £400-500 per week dependant on your experience
  • Varied work schedule between 1-5 days per week
  • Opportunity to work in a number of secondary schools
  • Access to CPD training and development courses

Desirable criteria to work as a cover supervisor;

  • Suitable references from employment or education
  • Passion for education and working with young people
  • University degree or relatable qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (essential can be applied for through TP)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
