Future teachers looking to work in Secondary schools throughout South Manchester. If you are a graduate in English, Maths, Science, Languages Teaching Personnel are working with schools who are looking for future teachers to work as learning support assistants, teaching assistants, tutors and academic intervention mentors.

If you are looking to become a secondary school teacher in the future and want to gain first hand secondary school experience we support secondary schools across Manchester, Tameside, Stockport and Trafford who are looking for additional support for their students with educational health care plans and special educational needs. The future teachers programme is ran in partnership with a well respected trust where you will work for 1 academic year as a support staff member before going on to a teacher training programme in September 2020.

If you already have some form of school experience or working with young people but aren't a graduate you can still apply and use your transferable skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work full time in a school as a support staff member ensuring students reach their expected levels of progress and achieve throughout their school life.

Highlights of the future teacher programme;

**1 year full time placement in a South Manchester secondary school

**Pay on a weekly basis ranging from ÂŁ250-ÂŁ330 per week

**Regular CPD and training courses on offer

**Provide first hand experience for those considering a career in Teaching

Essential criteria for the future teacher programme;

**University degree

**Relevant school based or youth work experience

**Work based or educational references

**Eligibility to apply for a child workforce DBS certificate
