Job description

TP-Tutors is seeking skilled and passionate Functional Skills Tutors in Hull to provide tailored one-to-one tuition in English and/or Maths. You’ll help learners build essential skills, boost confidence, and achieve nationally recognised qualifications.

About TP-Tutors:
With over 20 years’ experience in education recruitment, we partner with schools and alternative provisions to deliver impactful, flexible tutoring.

What We Offer:

  • £25–30 per hour (PAYE)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced tutor or teacher with strong English and/or Maths skills

  • Confident delivering Functional Skills content

  • Comfortable working 1:1, including with SEND/SEMH learners

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training

  • Two professional references covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
