Job Title: Fully Qualified Tutor - QTS

Location: Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Fully Qualified Tutor with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to join our team in Bedford, East of England. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students across various subjects.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Sound knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Training in assessment and feedback techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
