Salary: £120 – £160 per day (dependent on experience and assignment length)

Do you have extensive experience teaching in a Primary school looking for a fresh start in September? If so, this could be the opportunity for you!

We are looking for an inspiring, motivating and fully qualified Primary Classroom Teacher to join on of our fantastic clients based in Daventry – this successful individual will be getting started with them in the new academic year from September 2025.

This would be a great opportunity for a primary teacher who is looking to work in a vibrant environment, who is looking to bring their energy and sense of humour to the classroom – with a passion for supporting our children with both professional development and their wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that engages and challenges all learners, with thoughtful planning, assessment, and feedback.
  • Support pupil wellbeing and development, fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to support academic and personal growth.
  • Contribute to whole-school life, including trips, events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
  • Lead and collaborate effectively, guiding support staff and sharing best practices with colleagues.
  • Drive continuous improvement through curriculum development, training, and staying current with educational trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven classroom experience in primary settings (including teaching practice for NQTs) with Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge, with the ability to plan inclusive, engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
  • Skilled in classroom management, organisation, and working effectively with support staff and pupils alike.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, building positive, respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
  • Reflective and committed professional, eager to grow, lead, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Meets safeguarding and compliance standards, including enhanced DBS clearance and a strong employment record.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
