Full time maths teacher - Basingstoke - September 2019

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a teacher of Maths to join our secondary school in Basingstoke who have recently academised.

We are looking for a full time teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner able to teach maths competently and with a history of success at both KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate will be both ambitious and inspiring. Ideally you would have recent experience of the maths curriculum and will be able to provide proof of attainment from previous years.

This role is suitable for an NQT of Maths.

The school are a large school in Basingstoke with a great local reputation and brilliant input from the parents of the pupils, finding that most parents of pupils are happy to assist and support you when feedback is given supporting their own child's learning from the home, something heavily encouraged by the school as a whole.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be OUTSTANDING! (or strive to be!)
  • Hold UK QTS in Secondary maths
  • Achieved via PGCE in Secondary maths, B.Ed, SCITT, BA w/QTS, or other recognised route to Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have expert knowledge of recent curriculum developments
