Teaching Personnel are working with a well established rated 'Good' school in Enfield to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work directly with a Year 1 boy with autism, to start ASAP until the end of the academic year (July 2019).

The candidate:

The school are looking for a dedicated autism experienced Teaching Assistant, ideally with previous time supporting one on one special needs children, someone who has a basic understanding of behaviour strategies and reward systems techniques. The successful candidate will be tasked with helping to keep the child focused on work, settled in class and that they are consistently developing their social skills.

• PECS/Makaton understanding or training desirable
• Previous experience working with children with autism
• One on one experience desirable
• Available immediately
