Full time Art teaching job - Immediate start

On behalf of the Head Teacher at an Alternative Provision in Plymouth, Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate and engaging Art teacher to start on Monday 3rd June until the end of this academic year. The students at this school are aged between 11 and 16 years old and have varied behavioural difficulties. This is a rewarding role and would suit a teacher who has strong relationship building skills. This Art teaching job is full time and there is a possibility this job will become permanent for the successful teacher.

The successful candidate:

  • Will have QTS
  • Will have recent experience teaching in a mainstream or SEN school up to KS4
  • Will have a DBS on the update service

As an Art teacher you will be expected to complete:

  • Engaging and interactive lessons to KS3 and KS4
  • Full teaching responsibilities with regards to planning and preparing lessons
