Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a friendly, eager and enthusiastic French Teacher (Teachers with a French curriculum ‘Professeur des Ecoles’ qualification will be prioritised) within one of our fantastic schools, located in Hammersmith.
The ideal candidate must speak English fluently, as well as French. You will need to relate to children on an individual level as well as creating a fun, stimulating and safe environment, whilst maintaining high standards of education. You will be looking after a Year 1 class (Grande Section Maternelle), in which children speak two or more languages. You will also get the support of a bilingual Teaching Assistant.
Knowledge of the British curriculum as well as the French curriculum is essential.
Experience working within Child care (in France and/or Britain) is required, and any certificates, diplomas or experience working with children and/or within a multilingual environment is desirable.
Please note that as this role is available for an immediate start, we will only consider application from candidates already living in London or surroundings.
The nursery is located in the peaceful and safe area of Hammersmith and Fulham, 3 minutes walk from Ravenscourt Park Underground Station, and gives a particular attention to Arts and Outdoorsy Activities in general. Each Teacher works very closely with their TA, as well as with the Head Teacher, who is very much involved in all the activities and classes within the school.
