Teacher of MFL needed in Accrington area

  • Excellent school location with good transport links (M65)
  • Negotiable pay depending on experience (up to £140/day)
  • Ofsted 'Good' school

Teaching personnel is currently looking for an MFL Teacher to fill a position which has become available in a school in the Accrington area. The position has become available due a member of the MFL department going on maternity leave. Ideally the school would like an MFL Teacher which is experienced delivering French and Spanish to GCSE level. The role includes a 0.8 teaching timetable to KS3/4, the remaining portion of the timetable will be dedicated to supporting EAL pupils in school. Although the role would initially be temporary to cover the maternity cover the Head Teacher is keen to consider the candidate for possible permanent position.

The school is an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas. They are keen to secure someone who will support the school on its journey to outstanding. The school have been commended on their excellent pupil behaviour and the supportive attitudes of the parents. The MFL department consists of 3 members of staff who teach across both French and Spanish.

Potential candidates would be enthusiastic, creative and committed to creating a thriving learning environment in the classroom. Any candidates who feel that they would meet these criteria are urged to apply for the role as soon as possible.
