Teacher of Design Technology (Wellingborough)
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school in Wellingborough who are seeking a teacher of Food Technology for a January start - if not sooner. The school cater for students aged 11- 18 with high quality teaching staff who challenge students to develop their creativity, skills and knowledge. At the school every student is empowered to fulfil their full potential and they have recently been judged by Ofsted to be a GOOD school, where "barriers for pupils have been broken" and "the glass ceiling has been removed". The successful applicant will be working alongside a dedicated department who are passionate about encouraging students to enjoy DT.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Be a confident teacher of Design Technology capable of teaching KS3/KS4 and potentially KS5
- A specialist in either food technology, textiles or woodwork
- Capable of planning and delivering engaging and diverse lessons which cater to a variety of learning styles
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
