EYFS Teaching Assistant

A client school in Central Manchester (M15) are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to support across their well resourced, EYFS provision. The Head Teacher of the school is looking for a well experience professional to share their practice to aid the development of their Nursery and reception aged children. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience supporting across the EYFS and will be looking to enhance their career in a supported environment.

This two for entry, Roman Catholic Primary School was rated 'OUTSTANDING' at its last OFSTED inspection and is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to aid progression across all areas of the EYFS. The school prides itself on creating 'positive attitudes about themselves, about others and about the community' and is looking for an energetic EYFS practitioner to join their dynamic team.

To be considered for the position, you must:

  • Have recent and relevant experience supporting in the EYFS
  • Be comfortable in supporting across all areas of the curriculum
  • Be confident in taking small group intervention sessions

Prior experience supporting in the EYFS is ESSENTIAL.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
