EYFS Teacher Vacancy- Liverpool - Start ASAP
EYFS Trained and experienced Teacher required in a GOOD Primary School in Liverpool, the role is to start ASAP.
Qualified Teacher Status is a necessity and recent experience working in a Primary setting is required.
The Head teacher is keen to meet applying candidates to discuss their recent experience and the expected responsibilities that come with the role; this will take place either by the end of this week or next.
A one-form entry school in Liverpool, who have worked with Teaching Personnel for the past three years, have approached the agency in order to source a strong EYFS teacher. The School are keen to appoint before May half term to cover a long term sickness. The permanent member of staff has been in and out of school due to illness and so it is important that they find a committed and hard working practitioner who is able to work until the end of the academic year.
The School:
The School is located between the WALTON VALE area and FAZAKERLY. The current OFSTED grading is GOOD across all areas and the school are keen to improve further. The Head teacher has been in post for over three years and is well supportive and committed to upskilling the staff in their school. The school has good links with other faith schools in the area and with this there are opportunities for further work in the cluster.
The Children:
The children who attend school arrive from the local estate which is mainly rented and social housing, with this, the children are considered to be more challenging. The behaviour policy is very consistent and well used across school and the children respond well to this. There is a strong community feel amongst the children and a togetherness which is heightened with the Christian ethos.
The role:
The role is to initially cover a staff absence following a number of weeks of sickness. The Head teacher has noted that at this time of year she needs someone committed to working closely with the children and their parents in creating a strong routine and happiness in the classroom. The role will start as soon as the school are satisfied with the successful teacher; and run on a full time basis until at least the end of the academic year. As with all sickness roles, the school have noted that they may need the teacher further.
How to apply and what is the process:
Firstly an up to date CV needs to be sent across with a cover email. I will then be in contact with the candidates who hold the relevant qualifications and recent/suitable experiences. The school will then shortlist, interview and appoint ready for a start in the Reception class. Pay will be negotiated depending on the experiences of the teacher, the rate will vary from £85-130 per day-based on a 6.5 hour day.
