An EYFS Teaching Assistant is required for an OFSTED graded "good" school in the Thirsk area from September until October half term. The position has arisen as a result of an unexpectedly high pupil intake for the next academic year.
The school is situated a short drive from Thirsk and is easily accessible from the A1 and A168. Located in a beautiful rural setting, the school caters for a large catchment area, spanning from Stockton on Tees to Harrogate.
An enthusiastic and proactive teaching assistant is required to assist pupils in their day to day learning and routines. If successful you will work with pupils with a range of learning difficulties such as MLD, SLD, Speech and language communication difficulties, SEMH, ASC and Physical and Sensory impairments.
The ideal candidate will :-
- Will be an experienced and well motivated EYFS TA.
- Hold a relevant childcare qualification
- Have a desire to work with committed team of ta'S AND Teachers
- Have some experience of delivering personal care, although this is not essential
- Have a passion for working with children
- Have experience of working with pupils with SEN

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
