Exams Officer – Temp to Perm Opportunity (September Start)

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting student success? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Accrington area to recruit a dedicated Exams Officer to join their team from September 2025.
This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to become a key part of a thriving school community with a strong focus on achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the administration and smooth running of all internal and external examinations
- Liaising with exam boards, senior leaders, and teaching staff to ensure compliance with all JCQ regulations
- Organising exam timetables, rooming, invigilation, and secure storage of exam papers
- Supporting the data and assessment processes as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in an Exams Officer or similar administrative role (education sector preferred)
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and database systems
- Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Have a clear and current enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
