Your Mission

• Design Bespoke ESOL Lessons: Tailor each session to student goals—be it everyday conversation, academic study, or workplace communication.

• Build Confidence & Fluency: Use role-plays, real-life dialogues, and multimedia resources to foster natural language use.

• Monitor & Celebrate Progress: Provide regular feedback, set achievable milestones, and share successes with learners and their families.

• Apply Trauma-Informed Strategies: Ensure every student feels safe, respected, and motivated to take linguistic risks.

Who You Are

• Qualified & Experienced: You hold an ESOL/ESL qualification or equivalent teaching experience.

• Cultural Competence: You understand diverse backgrounds and adapt materials sensitively.

• Engaging Communicator: You make lessons interactive, fun, and relevant to each learner’s life.

• Patient & Empathetic: You guide learners through challenges with encouragement—SEN experience is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
