Your Mission

Design Engaging Science Sessions: Tailor experiments, demonstrations, and discussions to each student’s interests and level.

Foster Inquiry & Critical Thinking: Encourage hypotheses, data analysis, and evidence-based conclusions.

Track & Report Progress: Share student milestones, conceptual breakthroughs, and next steps with families.

Apply Therapeutic Techniques: Use trauma-informed strategies to ensure every learner feels confident tackling challenges.
Who You Are

Science Enthusiast: You hold a degree or background in biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field.

Expert Communicator: You simplify complex theories into hands-on, relatable concepts.

Empathetic Mentor: Patience, adaptability, and a student-centred mindset guide your approach.

SEN-Aware (Bonus): Experience with diverse learning needs—especially in STEM—is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
