This opportunity is ideal for an English teacher interested in providing intervention sessions for small groups of identified students.
- Part-time English tutor.
- Required from January 2021.
- Competitive hourly rates of pay dependent on previous experience.
- Hours and days negotiable.
- Must have experience of the GCSE English Literature curriculum.
- Small secondary school situated in Bury accessible via the M60 motorway.
- Work with small groups of KS4 pupils in preparation for their GCSE examinations.
Due to some pupils working at a lower level of learning, our client school are hoping that extra support within English will increase the attainment grades of identified pupils. Hours and days are negotiable to meet the needs of the identified pupils, and to fit around pre-arrangements.
The school is situated within a modern building, with a specific area for intervention and tuition to take place. You will have access to the resources compiled by the English department and will be fully supported with planning and assessing.
Located in Bury, our partner secondary school is easily accessible via the M66 and A56 from the surrounding areas including Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. There are an abundance of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
