Are you invested in developing your own Teaching practice?
A Secondary school in Liverpool is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit an English teacher who can answer yes to all of the criteria above!
A co-educational joint-faith Roman Catholic and Church of England Secondary School with Academy status located in Liverpool. Attainment within our client school has improved significantly and students achieve well. Previously having very low attaining standards, students are now achieving at least in line with national averages, sometimes exceeding them. The academy has received national recognition as one of the most improving schools in the country in terms of GCSE results and is lead very well by the newly appointed Head.
A successful candidate will have the ability to teach English to KS3/4. Experience teaching KS5 would be desirable, however, not essential. The school is looking for a dedicated teacher who puts the pupil's progress and well being first. The Teacher should demonstrate an enthusiasm for helping young people reach their full potential and progress onto their desired goals.
Staff at the school benefit from an inclusive environment with state of the art facilities. There are comprehensive support and induction programmes in place for new members of staff.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
