English Teacher needed for an Academy in Bradford

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an English teacher for our client Academy located in Bradford to cover a maternity absence with immediate effect until the end of the summer term (21st July).

  • Full time English teaching role - Required immediately
  • Teaching English Language and Literature to KS4 including GCSE classes
  • Pay in line with MPS (Between £100 NQT - £190 per day)

The new Principal of this 11-16 newly formed Academy located in Bradford wishes to appoint an English teacher for the remainder of this academic year and beyond on a year long contract initially. The incoming English teacher will be able to commit to working within this school until Christmas 2019.

The school wish to appoint an English teacher with:

** A track record of consistently good or outstanding teaching.

** The ability to encourage progress across all ability levels

** Excellent classroom management skills and an enthusiastic and driven approach towards teaching and learning

This is a traditional mixed comprehensive 11-16 Academy located minutes from the M62 and from Calderdale. The school serves a diverse catchment area of pupils, with an average proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals. The proportion of students from minority ethnic groups is below that found nationally. The English department is well resourced and you will be joining 4 other members of teaching staff who are all motivated and driven to improving pupil attainment.
