Engineering Teacher – Full Time (Immediate Start)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join a reputable, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, and the role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Engineering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a dynamic and well-resourced Technology and Engineering Department. The school is recognised for strong leadership, a positive learning culture, and a commitment to staff development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and technically accurate Engineering lessons.
- Supporting students in developing practical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and confidence within STEM subjects.
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
- Demonstrating high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism or strong teaching experience in Engineering or a related Technology discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for STEM education.
- Ability to start immediately.
- Commitment to inspiring learners and promoting high standards.
