Food Technology Teacher – Full Time (Immediate Start)

Through Teaching Personnel | Paid to Scale | Potential Permanent Position

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, and there is the possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

The successful applicant will deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking Technology Department. The school benefits from strong leadership, modern facilities, and a supportive environment that encourages professional growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of nutrition and food preparation.
  • Maintaining a safe and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities.
  • Upholding high standards of teaching, behaviour, and safeguarding.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands-on learning.
  • Ability to start immediately.
  • Commitment to raising achievement and supporting learners of all abilities.
