Contract: Full‑time
Start Date: May 2026
Salary: From £165 per day (Dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our creative and forward‑thinking Art Department. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT who is eager to begin their career in a supportive and inspiring environment.
As part of our team, you will deliver high‑quality Art lessons that nurture creativity, develop practical skills, and promote a love of visual arts. You will support strong progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to contribute to GCSE Art & Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, diverse Art lessons across KS3–KS4.
- Teach a range of artistic techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art (where applicable).
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing effective and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Art Department.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring studio environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and whole‑school initiatives.
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners.

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
