English Teacher – Central London – Easter / September 2020

Contract Length: Temporary – Permanent from Easter (Or Permanent if from September)
Pay: MPS / UPS (GBP30, 480 - GBP49, 571)
Location: Central London
English Teacher – The role;
English Teacher required for a “GOOD” Ofsted rated School in the Central London area. This position will be 5 days a week (Full Time) with the option of 4 days (Part Time) for the right candidate. The role is offered on a temporary basis until September 2020 if starting in Easter 2020, or alternatively a permanent contract straight away from September 2020. The role will be an English Teacher position, working with students at this “GOOD” school in Central London to students in KS3 and KS4.

The school is based in Central London – local to Liverpool Street Station. The school was rated “GOOD” by Ofsted in 2017 and the report complemented the improvement of the facilities and resources available to pupils. The school have a large English department made up of 12 teachers where there is plenty of room for progression. The Head of Department has been working in London Schools for 30+ years and has been working at this school for 20 years – he is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and is also responsible for staff development.
English Teacher – The Requirements;
- Hold QTS, PGCE, QTLS or other relevant teaching qualification.
- BA (Hons) or other relevant conversation in English Language or Literature.
- Experience as an English Teacher to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
