Supply Teaching Assistants Needed – Start ASAP
Teaching Personnel – Chorley, Skelmersdale, Southport, Ormskirk & Surrounding Areas
Teaching Personnel is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Chorley, Skelmersdale, Southport, Ormskirk and the wider area.
No prior qualifications are required — just enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine interest in supporting children.
We also offer the Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification at a heavily discounted rate for candidates looking to develop professionally while working.

The Role – Supply Teaching Assistant
As a Supply TA, you will:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (your preference)
- Assist the class teacher with learning activities and classroom organisation
- Work with small groups or individual pupils who may need extra help
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Follow school routines and provide a positive, professional presence in the classroom
Full training and guidance will be provided for candidates new to education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
