English Teacher

English Teacher required in the Fylde area from September

I am working on behalf of a mainstream 'Good' secondary school in Poulton-le-Fylde who are seeking an English Teacher from September - December in the new academic year to cover an absence in the English department. The school are also interested in English Graduates who have experience of teaching KS3/4 English in schools, or have experience of providing English tuition to students between the ages of 11-16.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering KS3/4 English lessons as well as marking students work. You will be fully supported by the Head of Department and other members of the English department and will have access to all resources as a permanent member of staff. The school has recently gone through a successful transition period and will have a new Head Teacher joining them from September 2017, as well as an addition to their English department.

The school is located in Poulton-le-Fylde and the school is approx. a 35 minute drive from Preston, Lancs. It is situated in a welcoming neighbourhood with onsite parking facilities and public transport links. The school is smaller than average with around 700 students on roll and it does also accommodate for 6th form students.

With the summer holidays fast approaching, the school are looking to meet with candidates next week or early wb. 17th July. They will be short listing candidates on Tuesday 11th July.
