English Teacher

Due to an unforeseen absence, our Ofsted Outstanding client school is looking for an English teacher for September 2018.

If you have experience delivering English through KS3 and KS4, then our client school has an opportunity for you. The ability to teach at KS5 would be highly advantageous for this position due to the school having a sixth form attached.

* September 2018 start date, full time English teacher required

* Earn in line with teaching scale point paid via supply initially

Our client school is a large 11-18 selective secondary and sixth form in the centre of Oldham. Ofsted graded the school as "Outstanding" across all areas with key features including the collaborative department leads and the inspirational Head teacher continuously striving for excellence. The school has excellent provisions for learning in place and students strive to achieve. The school achieve above the national average in both Progress and Attainment, with scores of 0.44 and 56.5 respectively. The school is a short walk from the centre of Oldham, on Egerton Street and is set in an iconic grammar school with state of the art facilities due to recent modernisation and renovations.

"We're looking for a skilled English teacher to join us in September, and to work on a fixed term basis in our English department. We're ideally looking for someone with experience teaching 11-18, though those with KS3 and GCSE experience only will be considered, providing their happy to gain the experience in post-16 with support from our faculty lead."
