English Literature and Language to KS5
Are you looking to bring the life to English!?
Do you want to make literature feel like the students are actually part of the stories?
If so, this position is definitely for you. The 'good' rating school in Plymouth is looking for a bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic candidate who wants to work in a successful department. The candidate will need to be able to teach both language and literature, covering a variety of texts from KS3 to KS5. The successful candidate will need to be inventive and innovative, covering texts such as Shakespeare, plays and other novels. The English department is led by a organised and supportive leader who is excited to welcome a new member of staff to their department!
The school is a mixed in Plymouth, teaching students between the ages of 11-18 years school which is highly inclusive. The school is a key part of the community and has a vast curriculum. The school works on students gaining GCSE, English Baccalaureate and A-levels preparing students for life after education. Teachers work hard to help students look into Higher Education, with a lot of students gaining high levels in additional languages.
Teaching Personnel works with a number of schools throughout the country, covering three main areas; staffing, intervention and supply. The company has great relationships with schools, teachers and support staff where you will be given your own personal consultant who will make sure that we find you employment that fits and suits YOU.
